1. Map of Poland and map of Europe do not work. The web page is opened but the map cannot be displayed.

In order to activate the interactive map, Java must be installed.


In order to activate Java first install it on your computer.

It is also important to check whether Java is not blocked by the browser - available by default.

Java can be blocked or unblocked in the browser whenever you like.
e.g. w Firefox 2.0: Tools -> Options -> Content -> Enable Java.



1.1 How to check if Java is installed correctly

To check if the Java is available you have to make a test - click on the link: www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

After you enter java test page click Verify Installation.



1.2 Installation of the newest version of Java

1.2.1 The first method - Standard installation of Java (download and launch exe file)

Download and install Java Virtual Machine

Description of Java Installation:
- you have to go to the website: www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
- download the appropriate Java version - for example for Windows - Windows (Offline Installation)
- when the file is downloaded activate it - Java installation will begin
- restart your computer after the installation is over



1.2.2 The second method - Installation of Java using a browser





1.3 Useful tips in case the map does not work even though the newest version of Java is installed.

• If the map does not appear - try using another browser.
  
  
• If you have Firefox or Opera browsers you need to uninstall them. Check if there are files left - if yes delete them.
  If the newest version of Java is notinstalled - it needs to be installed.
  Then, again install the broweser (in the newset version found on www.firefox.pl or www.opera.pl).
  
  
• If Java does not work in Firefox, check if it is available in the browser:
  In the address bar enter: about:plugins - there should be an information about the version of Jave on the website.
  
  
• Check if Java is actovated in the browser:
  
  w Firefox: Tools->Opctions->Content->Enable Java
  
  w Opera: Tools->Preferences->Advanced->Content->Enable Java
  
  w IE: Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Java Sun->Use JRE 1.5
  
  

2. How to update (change the data) the accommodation which is already on the list?

There are two ways to update the data:

1. Please fill in the data form and add a picture, next send the form ( www.odleglosci.pl/noclegi-dodaj.php ) - please remember to enter the same login and password.

2. Please send the changes (e.g. new price list) through the contact form ( www.odleglosci.pl/kontakt.php ) - please enter the login, name and address of the accommodation as well as e-mail, the webmaster will update the website.



3. Why is my accommodation not visible on the webiste - I filled in and sent the form on the website www.odleglosci.pl/noclegi-dodaj.php? I sent it a few days ago but it is still not visible?

Every register requires confirmation - authorization of the data. After sending a form with the data, an e-mail containing information about the accommodation and the link is automatically sent to you. It is necessary to click on the e-mail to confirm the data.

If you did not receive the e-mail - please contact the webmaster ( www.odleglosci.pl/kontakt.php ).

Only after the confirmation, will the webmaster check the updated information and place it on the website.




4. How to clear the browser cache and Java cache?

If the map is not displayed, the error report occurs or some of the options of the map do not work, it is necessary to clear the browser cache. If it does not help, clear Java cache - aplety java are saved in the cache in Windows.


4.1 Internet Explorer 7 - Clearing the browser cache

Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> (Browsing History) Delete -> Delete all

Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> (Temporary Internet Files) Delete Files -> (Select Delete all offline content) OK

Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab -> (Private Data) Clear Now -> (select all the options) Select Private Data
