Radomsko
- Radomsko is the town and a seat of the commune and poviat authorities, located in Łódzkie Voivodeship (Province). The town is situated on the most important routes: National Road No.1, future Motorway NS and a railway line Warszawa - Wiedeń.
The history of Radomsko dates back to the 11th century. Among the determining factors in the development of the town there were trade route from Silesia to Ruthenia and the Salt Route from Bochnia to Wielkopolska and further to Mazowsze.
The first reference to the town appears in the document from 1243, when Duke Konrad Mazowiecki issued a document in which he granted the privileges to the Dominican Order in Płock.
The most important document granting Radomsko town rights was issued in 1266. During the two congresses which took place in Radomsko the final decision about the ruling dynasty was made.
